Operation Boat RP

The party were welcomed aboard the Johnson's cruise ship, the Ellison, forger securely in tow. They were informed that the next job was in Neo-Tokyo, and that they'd be sailing for several weeks to get there. The party could do whatever they wanted until then. Roach promptly decided to ditch their comfy cabin and instead sleep in the cramped luggage compartment deep below deck.

As the days passed the ship made several stops to pick up other rescued assets and Runner crews hired by the Johnson. In addition to Shuttlecock the forger, they now had a mage, an arms dealer, a doctor, a cyberdoc and a drug maker to provide services. The party, now called Team Europe, hit it off with Team NA - Barry and Big Man, the only trolls on board, became drinking buddies while Peanut and Hardpoint the elf bonded over corporate gossip. Teams Africa, South America, Asia and Oceania were more distant, and every decker pointedly avoided Roach as much as they could. Peanut and Barry catcalled the rescued Doctor and she injected Barry with experimental troll tranquilizer as punishment.

A few mages were on the other teams, and Peanut made a point to try to suss out which traditions they belonged to. Nothing out of the ordinary until he got to Silver Lash, the Dryad Mage of Team South America - Peanut rolled a critical glitch and somehow figured that this lady is an insect shaman. He promptly freaked the fuck out about this and left, acting weird for the next few days. Barry eventually confronted Peanut and also freaked the fuck out when he learned the "truth." A party meeting was called and they all agreed that the Dryad had to die, Leon drank a bunch of Peanut's wine during the commotion. Wukong and Roach failed to notice that Team Oceania was spying on them and also freaking the fuck out at this news.

The Doctor suddenly knocked on the door and told the party that they were being chased by a sea monster, and that the Johnson wanted Barry and Big Man to deal with it using Krime Cannons.

All the teams gathered to watch the spectacle. Barry was unable to keep his composure with Silver Lash right in front of him, and he tried to shoot her even as she gave him a friendly smile and wave. Fortunately Roach managed to eject the gun's magazine and turn the safety on before Barry could commit a murder. Wraith of Team Africa confronted Peanut about this, and he deflected the blame onto the Doctor and her weird drug she used on Barry. The other teams bought it and now everyone is suspicious of the Doctor. The Johnson seemed to take all this in stride and told them all to gather for a briefing on the next mission: Operation Kendo.
