Akiros Ismort

Artesia fired an arrow at Beaky the owlbear, wounding its bicep. Doven from Nisroch spent his turn stealing the Stag Lord's treasure, while Beaky charged at the party and took a bite out of Akiros. Akiros hit it right back, and Luka followed up with a solid hit. Yi grappled Auchs and got bonked in the head for the trouble, but Nisha took the bandit down with a Shocking Grasp. Beaky took a big chunk out of Luka, and Akiros popped it with another slash and Luka finished it off. Dovan promptly surrendered, and the Stag Lord and his bandits were well and truly defeated.

Akiros then calmed down, and Luka immediately jumped to executing him. Akiros presented his Tragic Backstory and the party deliberated on what to do with him in quite a good little stretch of RP. They decided to take him prisoner, and got to executing the other bandits. Akiros showed them the giant treasure hoard the Stag Lord had accumulated, and told them of a strange man in the basement that they decided to talk to the next day. Luka also demanded all the Stag Lord amulets in the fort, which Akiros gathered up for him.

The next morning, the party prepared as normal, keeping an eye on Akiros. Luka had dreamt a dream of a beautiful nymph telling him he deserved to be king, and they chatted about it over breakfast. Nisha drew a Reversed King of Cups, symbolizing distrust and treachery, in regards to Akiros. They then headed down to the basement to confront the strange man. A wolverine appeared out of the ceiling and summoned a giant ant, initiating combat. The ant immediately grappled Vizma, but a combination of Yi and Nisha took care of it. Meanwhile, Artesia and Luka got to work fighting the wolverine, which kept casting some bullshit. Yi tried jumping up and grappling it the air, failing miserably. The wolverine summoned a bat swarm, wounding Nisha and nauseating Artesia. Nisha hit a sick wall run into a scarf slash, and Yi tried mimicking her to no avail. The wolverine wild-shaped back into a human, and Artesia managed to take him out with a well-placed arrow as the bat swarm descended upon the rest of the party.
