'boldroom Blitz

On Pharast 31st the party continued on, Yi mysteriously vanishing into thin air in the morning. The party discussed with Mikmek the kobold how to deal with his tribe and the shaman Tartuk, who had deceived them all with a false magic idol. They decided to trick the Sootscales by projecting a fake image of an angry deity from the statue to scare the kobolds into defying Tartuk. Artesia managed to convert Mikmek to Ragathiel worship, and off they went to the Sootscale Caverns.

Once they reach the cavern, they find it was once a silver mine and a kobold guard greets them, escorting them to Tartuk and Chief Sootscale. The kobolds and the party gather in the cavern's temple, a bloodstained and grim place, and the party took their positions as Tartuk and Sootscale approached. Garett levied accusations of treachery against the chief and the shaman, and Vizma and Nisha used magic to make the god appear and utter furious statements. The kobolds clamored to kill them both, but Tartuk went invisible and combat was started.

After a few rounds, the party convinced Sootscale to fight Tartuk as well, and they soon got Tartuk's invisibility under control while Artesia ran off to the treasure room to stop the other kobolds from looting it. She managed to secure the hoard as Garett managed to bring Tartuk down. They eventually defeated Sootscale as well, and Mikmek became the new chief of the clan. Mikmek gave the kobold hoard to the party and offered them mining rights to the silver in exchange for proper weapons and armor in the future. They decided to spend the night in the Sootscale Cavern. Artesia set up a small shrine of Ragathiel in the temple, while Luka trained Mikmek in the way of the sword. Nisha decided to simply socialize with the kobolds without fear of judgement, and Vizma spent the evening healing the wounded and planning his usual ritual sacrifices.
